Umpires
We are always looking for additional umpires! If you're interested in being an umpire for the North Branch Fastpitch Association, please reach out to a board member for details.
Ages
The Association's guidelines are below:
8U games: 12+ years old
10U games: 12+ years old
12U games: 14+ years old
14U games: 16+ years old
Umpires with certification/training are given priority for scheduling.
Pay Rate
$25 per game for 8U games.
$80 per doubleheader for 10U-14U games.
A $5 fee is deducted if NBFA's umpire gear is used.
Paychecks will be issued on a bi-weekly basis and will be issued via check or Venmo, depending on your preference.
Where
We host games at Sunrise River Elementary, North Branch Middle School and North Branch High School.
When
Our home games begin at the end of April and run through mid-July.
Games are played Monday through Thursday and begin at 6:00 pm. We host approximately 30 games per season.
attire
We ask our umpires to wear non-descript attire (i.e. no Vikings apparel). If you need to borrow a face mask, chest protector, pitch count clicker, etc. please inform the umpire coordinator so they can ensure the gear is available at the field prior to the start of the game.
