Vikings Spring/Summer Season
Spring tryouts will be held at the North Branch Area Middle School. We will be utilizing both gyms. Please enter through Door 17 where we will have a table set up with people to help with directions and uniform ordering. Please make sure you are on time based on your age group below, as we have tight windows to get all of the girls time to get situated and in place. Our 3rd party evaluators, Flexx, will be doing 100% of the evaluations for all positions. Click below to learn more about them and their evaluation techniques.
When
January 10, 2026:
- 12u - 1:30pm - 4:00pm
- All Pitchers & Catchers - 4:00pm - 5:30pm
- 10u - 5:00pm - 7:00pm
- 8u tryouts are on a separate registration

Attire
Please wear:
- A plain white t-shirt, softball pants, gym shoes or sneakers and proper equipment relative to your position.
- Your favorite bat and glove.
- Batting Helmet
- Facemasks are also required for tryouts. There will be some equipment available for use if you don't have any.

This is non-refundable and does not guarantee placement on a team.
Season cost
$450
This charge will appear if you have been assigned to a team. Payment plans are optional.
Frequently Asked Questions
What if I want to tryout for a level higher than my age group?
You must first sign up to tryout for your age level. Then email info@nbfastpitch.org to sign up for an additional spot to try up a level. Trying up comes with an extra charge of $25 due to needing an extra tryout session. Flexx charges $40 per player, per tryout. The association is absorbing $15 of the $40 for the additional tryout session.Trying out for a higher age level does not guarantee placement at that level.
